WORKOUTS

What is HIIT and why do it?

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, is a training technique in which you give all-out, one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. This type of training gets and keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time.

Increases Your Metabolism

Combing high intensity with interval training results in an increased metabolic rate and translates into a metabolism boost for up to 48 hours after a complete HIIT workout.

Quick
Long gone are the days of not having enough time for exercise. Most HIIT workouts can be done in 30 minutes or less! Who can’t spare that?

Why lift weights?

Burn more fat

You may have been told that cardio is the ultimate fat burner, but that effect stops the minute you hop off the treadmill. Build more muscle and you'll keep your body burning fat all day long. Love the lean, defined muscles look? Want to tone up? LIFT WEIGHTS!

Stronger Bones

Bones grow and become stronger when under stress, weightlifting provides that stress your bones need. Stronger bones lead to a decreased risk for osteoporosis, as well as other bone-threatening conditions.

Feel Empowered

Throwing around some serious iron can be a great stress relief and make you feel empowered. Lifting heavy weights—and building strength as a result—comes with a big self-esteem boost. Your strength will not only show in your lean, toned body, but also in your attitude.

Whether you're traveling or just can't make it to the gym, no excuses!
